Acid Esports Rulebook

Our community guidelines ensure a respectful, fair, and enjoyable experience for all members. Please read and follow these rules carefully.

Community Rules

Use The Right Channels

Keep discussions in their appropriate channels. Check channel descriptions to ensure you're posting in the right place.

Have Common Sense

Think before you act. If something seems wrong or could hurt others, don't do it. Use good judgment in all interactions.

Adhere To Rocket League's TOS

Follow all Rocket League Terms of Service and community guidelines. Violations affect our entire organization.

No Inappropriate Content

No NSFW content, violence, self-harm topics, or any disturbing material. Keep our community safe and welcoming.

Respect Everyone

Treat all members with respect and kindness. Harassment, discrimination, and toxic behavior will not be tolerated.

No External Drama

Leave outside conflicts at the door. Our community is a drama-free zone focused on gaming and positive interactions.

Avoid Risky Clicks

Don't share suspicious links or potentially harmful content. Protect yourself and others from scams and malware.

Don't Abuse Mentions

Use @mentions responsibly. Don't spam ping roles, staff, or members unnecessarily. Respect everyone's notifications.

Don't Abuse Power

If you have any special roles or permissions, use them responsibly and fairly. Power comes with responsibility.

Enforcement & Strikes

3 Strike System

Members are on a 3 strike ruling. On your last strike, you will be timed out for 5-10-15 minutes depending on the severity of the violation.

Ban Process

For someone to get banned, an application must be submitted through the 🆘 Support System. Only leadership can authorize bans — no staff member (including admin) can ban people without proper review.

Staff Rules

Staff Accountability

If staff are found abusing power or breaking any rules, they only get 1 strike instead of 3. Violating staff will be placed on administrative leave pending review.

Activity Requirements

If staff are inactive for more than 3-4 weeks, they will automatically be demoted. Active participation is essential for maintaining your staff position.

Channel-Specific Rules

Some channels may have specific rules. Please check the pins/channel description before using them.

DM Policy

If you decide to not follow the server rules in DMs with someone, this decision must be mutual. You should not break the server rules in DMs except if both parties agree to this.

If someone is sending spam in DMs or breaking Discord rules, please report them to Discord and block the user to prevent further harassment.

Voice Chats

Our rules also apply to voice channels, especially when they are open to the public.

Being obnoxious in voice chats (e.g., using voice changers, playing loud music) is not allowed.

But Technically...

Keep in mind that these rules are enforced according to their spirit, not their words. There are no loopholes — we may still take action if something you do is not explicitly in the rules, or if it's in a gray area. Please respect our decision if this occurs.
